This policy explains, in plain language, how Travel Cruisey handles your information. It covers this website and the inquiry form on the contact page.
What I collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you choose to submit through the inquiry form: your name, email address, optional phone number, trip details, and any accessibility or planning notes you include. There are no user accounts and no tracking of visitors.
Please do not submit passport numbers, birthdates, payment-card details, medical records, or other sensitive documents. The form does not ask for them, and they are not needed to start planning.
Why it is collected
Your inquiry details are used for one purpose: to respond to you and help plan the trip you asked about. You must check the consent box before submitting, and I contact you only about your inquiry.
How your inquiry is processed
This site is hosted on Netlify. When you submit the form, your submission is processed and stored by Netlify Forms, which also filters submissions for spam. When a verified inquiry is received, Netlify may send an email notification to Travel Cruisey. This website does not maintain a separate customer database; once a notification or reply has been sent, your inquiry information may also exist in the business email account. Netlify processes this data as a service provider; its privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.
What I do not do
- I do not sell personal data.
- I do not collect payment-card details through this site.
- I do not run advertising cookies or analytics; none are enabled in this release of the site.
Data retention
Submissions are stored by Netlify Forms, and inquiry emails are kept in my business email account for as long as they are useful for responding to you and supporting your planning. I do not maintain a separate customer database for this site. If you would like your inquiry deleted, ask and I will delete it from the form submissions and my mailbox.
Correction and deletion
To request a copy, correction, or deletion of the information you submitted, email hello@travelcruisey.com and I will take care of it.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not use analytics in its initial release. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
